A NEW WAY OF LIVING

by Zaffer Khan

We are living through an unprecedented crisis, and the enormity of the challenges it presents our daily lives are already very clear. Many organisations have closed their physical doors on their members, including us, and rightly so. We have had calls from our members, leads and participants asking us how we will carry on. How long will this last?

ZAFFER KHAN Chief Executive Officer

But amid this crisis and fear, people are demonstrating extraordinary resilience, facing challenges calmly and thoughtfully. And through this reflection there have been some amazing acts of kindness, ingenuity, and parallel thinking.

At One Voice Blackburn we will absolutely stay connected through our sharing of creativity through our group of communities – virtually.

Our offices are closed, but we are still working. We are adapting. We are thinking – is this the new normal?

Over the last 18 months One Voice Blackburn has been looking to develop a virtual platform for our members to interact. It is our vision for the future. We see a future where, to protect our environment, we won’t travel as much, engage in human contact as much, and work much more remotely and digitally. We will in fact be creating a virtual world. It will be a new sense of reality. When we have talked about these ideals at our events, it has been met with anticipation, excitement, and some reservation.

Little did we know that in 2020 we would have the perfect opportunity to test our plans, in a most perilous climate. All meetings will be digital. New virtual platforms will be developed. All of our members will be engaged.

Welcome to Virtually One Voice.
